HX Stomp Snapshots Hack – 2 Snapshots, 1 Footswitch

The Line 6 HX Stomp is a tried and true amp modeler and multi-effects processor that’s known for its compact, three switch design. It utilizes snapshots to group multiple blocks, making it more practical to be limited to three foot switches.

However, sometimes three is just not enough! That doesn't mean it’s time to upgrade, you just need to rethink how we use snapshots and switches on the HX Stomp. The HX Stomp usually encourages you to use a single snapshot per footswitch, which certainly does the job, but I find that it’s inefficient for the way I play.

I made a short walkthrough video about how I utilize the command center to group 2 snapshots under a single pedal in order to free-up a footswitch for either a third snapshot, or a toggle effect (how I use it).
